More Pics.....

Today it is snowing like it does in all the other parts of the country, except out here! Our front yard is covered in snow and it's coming down like crazy. When it snows like this out here everything tends to shut down. Jonathan is on his way home from work early, hopefully the highway isn't too plugged up.
Riley is growing like a weed, I think he is about 12 lbs already and has out grown quite a few of his outfits already. He is 6 weeks old and is already wearing 3 month clothing! He is such a cutie and is really happy. He is almost laughing and smiles alot. He is awake for a good part of the day and is cooing alot, Jonathan says Riley is trying to tell him something. He is really responsive to our voices and loves to just stare at anyone. Keely is doing better with us home, she is pretty much back to her regular self and doesn't pay too much attention to Riley. She usually doesn't like it too much when he cries and sometimes leaves the room..... especially at night! She needs her sleep too! It's been a bit more challenging lately to get out for some excercise, I don't like to take Riley out it it's too cold. With the wind lately it's been around -15 so we pretty much stay inside. Anyways here are some pics.

Finally....

Ok, so I'm sure you all know that we had our baby! And our computer is up and running. So the night of my last post, I went into labor, and Riley Joel came into our lives at 6:39am on Nov. 3rd. Labor and delivery was awesome, start to finish was only about 7 hours and could not have gone any smoother. I was truly blessed. He is such a great baby, he likes to sleep between 7 and 8 hours a night now. Here are some pictures for you to enjoy. I will update more often now I promise!

Not much longer.....

So we finally were able to get some good pics done, we got the camera set up and snapped some good pics. I have been having some good contractions but they keep stopping. I could have sworn that the baby was coming on Halloween, but after 1 hour of 1 minute long contractions 5 minutes apart, they just up and stopped. I can feel the baby has dropped, and have lots of pressure. I'm sure it won't be long but I'm not holding my breath just incase it still takes a couple weeks. We will let everyone know as soon as anything happens, and I will try to get pics on here as soon as I am feeling well enough.

Jonathan starts his job on Tuesday, he has been hired by Wajax in Langley. It's a heavy duty mechanics shop. They will put him through school and have awesome benefits. It's a union shop, so it seems like they are all for taking care of their employees. He is very excited and it's nice to know that we will be getting some steady income again. He is also very excited to be learning again and will end up having 2 Journeyman tickets. We are very thankful for all your prayers. So for now, I'm taking it easy, staying at home most days and getting a few little things done each day. My next post will hopefully be baby pictues!

Yeah, I know.....

Ok, Like I said originally...... I would TRY to keep this updated. We have been having computer problems so hopefully this makes it out to all of you. I am officially done work now so now I am able to relax and put my feet up. I don' t think I've mentioned previously that Jonathan is also home most days, he quit his job at Mertin's to work on his own business fixing cars. He was so busy after hours with people wanting him to fix thier cars that he decided to do it full time. So far it's been good, not as busy as we had hoped but it's been enough to keep on going for now. We are waiting to hear back from a company in Langley about a possible Heavy Duty position he has been wanting to try out, and are thankful for everyones thoughts and prayers for us. Well, I'm hungry, like usual. I will try to get another post up before the baby comes. Only 2 more weeks......hopefully!

Not Much Longer Now!

This picture was taken last week at 32 weeks along. Everything has been going great, our follow up ultrasound confirmed that everything is going well and there are no complications. We are very thankful for this as there was a possibility that I may have been put on bed rest. The baby measured to be about 4 pounds, it's crazy how they can tell that just by measuring certain body parts! It was great to see the little one again, it has really chubby cheeks already and will probably end up being around the 8 pound mark!
I only have 3 weeks left of work, and am getting really excited. It's getting harder and harder to last a full shift and I am very happy that I have booked off one day a week so that I am only working 4 days a week, I don't think I would last for 5 days!
This weekend is the BC Crop for Kids weekend, we get to spend the weekend scrapbooking and hanging out with friends. Looking forward to getting some projects done before the little one comes and I have a whole pile more pictures to scrapbook. I just hope that I can sit for long enough to get some work done! Well, so long for now.

Hot!

So I have been very happy with the weather this summer up until about a week ago. I know you will all think I'm crazy to say that I want the cooler weather back..... but it's just so much harder to keep cool!

I can hardly believe that in another 3 months there will be another person in this house, it seems like there is still so much to get done.

I'm going out on the patio, much cooler out there tonight. So long for now.

Current State

So this is our most current picture of our Cutlet. Some days I am much bigger, other days not even this big. It's funny how it moves around and makes my stomach all different shapes and sizes. Only 13 more weeks to go, hopefully..... We can't wait to meet our little one.

I finally did it!

Ok, so I have finally surrendered and have given in to the peer pressure. I will create and upkeep a blog for all our friends and family to enjoy. No guarantees as to how up to date it will be but I will give it a shot. Now that Jonathan has created a facebook page, I guess I will take care of this one. So between the two pages everyone should be kept in the loop. Hope you all enjoy!
