Little Angel

So we finally had a chance to take some good pictures, I set up the backdrop again and took some family shots. I had wanted to do this just after Riley was born but as everyone knows, time gets away from us all so easily. He was so small when he was born, I wanted to capture that with some proffessional looking photos but I think we did get some great shots of him as a little guy. He is growing up so quickly, I can't help but sit and stare at him while he is sleeping. I weighed him on our scale today and I think he is about 18.5 lbs. I'll get an official weight next week at his doctors apt. Nothing too exciting happening out here, except that he is sleeping between 9 and 11 hours at night in one shot. I guess he has enough stored fat that he doesn't have to eat at night anymore! ( I better knock on wood so I don't jinx his sleeping patterns! ) He is also laughing quite a bit now, it does take a bit of effort on our parts but it is so worth it! Anyways, as you can see below I love taking pics of my boys..... they are just too cute together!

Getting bigger every day....

We spent Riley's first Christmas with Jonathan's family. Christmas morning we waded through the massive amounts of snow and trecked over to Josh and Kareen's. It was great to see the kids opening thier presents and had breakfast with them all. Then we headed over to Mom and Dad Cutler's for turkey lunch. It was a great day and so beautiful with all the snow.

We flew out to Saskatoon to see my family for New Years. Once we actually arrived we had a great visit with grandparents and parents. It was soo cold and we were there for only 2 days that we ended up spending the whole visit at Ilicia's. It was great to not have to worry about being somewhere at a certain time and just being there with them.

Riley got his first set of shots in January after we got back from Saskatoon, he weighed in at 16lbs 2 oz!! I knew he was gaining weight but didn't realize how much. He is now in size 3 diapers and is wearing mostly 6 month sleepers. I can't believe how quickly he is growing up. He is starting to laugh and he loves to stand up and sit.... doesn't like laying down much anymore! Well he just woke up so I better cut this short..... maybe more later this week!
