Brayden John was born on April 5th 2011 at 11:10 am. He weighed 8 lbs and was 21 inches long. The delivery was much different than our first. The biggest difference was that we were able to get a good nights sleep first... We were required to stay in the hospital for at least one night so we didn't get home until about 7pm the following evening. Jonathan's mom was here and was an amazing help as she stayed home with Riley and cooked and cleaned for us. It was really great to get home and relax, the hospital is never a comfortable place. My parents also came to visit our new arrival, and had a great visit. We went for a picnic and just relaxed and enjoyed the boys.
Riley is doing awesome as a Big Brother and always tells me that he loves his brother. At the hospital he said " Uv you Bayden" all by himself without anyone telling him. He loves to lay beside him and touch his face and hands. I have been VERY blessed with the best boys in the whole world.
Today is the first day I have been totally by myself and so far it's gone really great. We will see how long that lasts.... knock on wood! Well, gotta go. Not much free time on my hands now... Hopefully I can get posts up on a regular basis!
