So needless to say I have been really busy. Having two boys that are constantly going has kept me quite occupied. Even now as I write this I am being distracted, so I probably won't write as much as I could. We have moved into our new house, of course the pictures are evading me at the moment, not sure where they went.... We absolutely love it here. The view is amazing and we love the space. Having Jonathan's mom here is great, she loves it too!
The boys are growing like weeds and I have started a bit of a small business for myself. My friend has opened her own shop, refinishing furniture. She does amazing work and when she needs something fixed or built, I am her wood worker. I definitely have my hands full. There has been a whole bunch of changes here in the last year. Jonathan is now working for Brandt Tractor and is currently finishing his first term at school to get his heavy duty ticket. They are putting him through school as fast a possible so that he can be signed off sooner rather than later. By this time next year he should be almost done! It's very exciting and he is so much happier working at this shop. He is really enjoying the work also. It's a whole different life!
I had so many plans for winter projects, as for winter, we didn't really have any. So the projects have not been done, and there is still so much to do. It was so mild this winter that we spent most of it outside. The boys really love the outdoors and it is almost impossible to get them to come inside. Usually one of them is crying. Now with the spring on the way I know already that we will hardly ever be indoors. We have done some organizing in the shop and have made it a lot more user friendly. Seems like we are out there more than in the house ever!
Riley started pre-school last fall and goes two mornings a week. I wish my work schedule would have lined up better for him to go more, but I have been working every Monday for the last who know how long. He is extremely smart, sometimes too smart. We are sending him to Kindergarten in the fall. I can't believe how fast he has grown up.
Brayden will be 2 in 3 weeks. My little baby is not so little anymore. I just went through his clothes yet again and discovered that he is into the size 3 t-shirts! I am amazed at how different the two boys are in body type.
Riley's old clothes fit him completely different. He is slowly starting to talk more, weird to not hear him chattering all the time. He picks his important words, like car and choo choo. He is also very smart and has to do everything his big brother can do, even if he is physically incapable of doing it.... He also has no fear, which is a challenge for me.
Well that's about time... They are now both crying and fighting over a ball. Gotta go!
